Alexis Sanchez is finally enjoying a well-earned break ahead of his return to Arsenal for pre-season training
Arsenal fans will be relieved to know that Alexis Sanchez is finally enjoying a well-earned break this summer after another gruelling season for the Chile international.
The 27-year-old was a regular fixture in the Gunners team last season, notching up 41 appearances in all competitions for Arsene Wenger’s men.
However, the Chilean did not have much of a rest after the end of the Premier League campaign, as he jetted straight off to report for international duty with his country ahead of the Copa America.
Sanchez helped Chile defend their title, beating Argentina in the final on penalties.
There were concerns about his fitness levels after he posted a picture of the ankle injury he suffered while on international duty on social media.
However, Sanchez is now relaxing in Miami as he enjoys some well-earned downtime ahead of the new season.
Sanchez posted the photo montage above on his personal Instagram account on Tuesday afternoon and wrote: “Finally, holidays.”
He then also shared the photo below of himself posing in front of a Lamborghini as the sun set in Florida.
The fact that Sanchez is now putting his feet up will please Arsenal fans, given his importance to the team at The Emirates
