GERMAN national football team player Jerome Boateng has ordered his wife and children to stay home during the European Championships because of fears of a terror attack.
The ex-Man City defender said he would not be able to concentrate 100 percent on football if he was worrying about his wife and twin children, aged five, if they were in the grounds watching him.
"Each person must decide for himself how to deal with it. I have already done so," he told Sport Bild in Germany.
"My family and children will not be coming to the stadium. The risk is simply too big.
"It's obviously sad to have to deal with such a question. But too many things have happened in the last few days that makes one reflect.
