The 22-year-old was laid to rest surrounded by her closest friends and family members, and fans are now paying their respects at a memorial
Christina Grimmie was laid to rest yesterday in a "small, intimate" funeral, before mourners gathered today for a memorial service.
Friends and family of The Voice singer, who was shot dead on Friday last week in front of her fans, said their final goodbyes at a private service in Medford, her home state of New Jersey.
An obituary notice previously stated the funeral would take place on Friday, but the star was laid to rest hours before in private - with a memorial service taking place today for people to pay their respects.
The Thursday funeral was described as a private, "intimate gathering for her family and close friends," a source told People magazine.
Mourners were today pictured gathering to say a final farewell in the star's hometown, at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel.
"Christina was truly a light in this world," the obituary notice read. "Anyone who met her was blessed by knowing her. Heaven has certainly gained an angel for their choir."
Donations have been asked to be made to the Christina Grimmie Scholarship Fund for the Performing Arts of Cherokee High School.
Singer Adam Levine previously offered to pay for the funeral in a moving tribute to The Voice star.
