Auchi Polytechnic Crisis continues

Rector Humiliated by protesting staffs.

Today made it the sixth day of the ongoing strike at the Federal polytechnic of Auchi. Lecturers where at it again today when they paraded around all the campuses dressed in  black shouting “solidarity “ with an image of the Rector and coffins which were later burnt at the polytechnic main entrance gate, After v of  .

Images and paintings of the Rector where removed or either painted with other colors, the strike seems to be growing in violence as the days continue to count. A call to the school’s (ASUP)chairman Engr. Isah Abdul Azeez indicated that the end of the strike is not in sight.

The joint union of SSANIP, ASUP and NASU embarked on  this indefinite strike on Friday, 6th February 2016.
failure of the management to pay salaries has been traced to the Treasury single Account policy by the president Muhammedu Buhari. This is due to the fact that the Federal polytechnic has never gone on strike under her government.

I would say that the Rector Dr. (Mrs.) Philipa Idogho has been a good woman for restoring back the pride and honor of this great polytechnic, years before she came into power Auchi Polytechnic was a shadow of its self as cultism dominated the school and corruption flooded the campuses, she brought back order.

I am of the opinion that the people who are engineering this are people who she had stopped from inflicting their wrath of corruption on the school wanting to pay her back for what she had denied them of.

Please stake your claim on the current crisis, leave a comment

Thanks.
