Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal could make their long-awaited Barcelona debuts in the Copa del Rey clash with Espanyol on Wednesday.
The duo were signed last summer from Atletico Madrid and Sevilla respectively but have yet to play because of a FIFA transfer ban imposed on Barca for breaching rules over the signings of under-age players.
The European champions confirmed on Monday that Turan and Vidal are now officially Barcelona players and have been given their squad numbers.
Turkey midfielder Turan, 28, inherits the No 7 shirt previously worn by Pedro - who joined Chelsea last summer - while 26-year-old Spain wing-back Vidal will wear the number 22 that Dani Alves wore before he switched to No 6.
The newcomers, who have been training regularly with their team-mates, could now feature in Wednesday's Copa del Rey last-16 first leg with local rivals Espanyol at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona were held to a goalless draw by Espanyol in La Liga on Saturday.
