The 18-year-old Manchester United striker immediately repaid Roy Hodgson's faith after the Three Lions boss gave him his international debut
Marcus Rashford made a stunning start to his England career, scoring just three minutes into his international debut.
The Manchester United starlet was handed his Three Lions debut after Roy Hodgson included the 18-year-old in his starting line-up to face Australia and he immediately rewarded his manager with an early strike.
Teed up by Raheem Sterling, Rashford slammed a low ball past Matt Ryan in the Australia goal to hand England and early lead, becoming the youngest ever player to net on his Three Lions debut.
The 18-year-old's goalscoring debut is the latest high in a remarkable three months for the striker, who only made his club debut in February.

The Red Devils whizkid will lead the line against the Socceroos, supported by both Adam Lallana and Raheem Sterling - who Roy Hodgson has insisted will play as forwards working from out-to-in, rather than wingers, as the Three Lions move back to a 4-3-3 formation at the Stadium of Light.
But there was no place on the bench for Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge, who has been suffering from a calf strain and is a serious doubt for Hodgson's Euro 2016 squad, with Rashford set to benefit should the Reds forward be ruled out.
In midfield, both Jordan Henderson and Jack Wilshere were included to further prove their fitness, while Danny Drinkwater acted as the anchorman between the pair, as he seeks to edge ahead of Eric Dier in their duel for a spot at the base of midfield.
Ryan Bertrand and Nathaniel Clyne got the nod at fullback, with Chris Smalling - captaining the side - alongside John Stones, in the absence of Gary Cahill.
Fraser Forster started in goal.
