ARSENAL TO ANNOUNCE NEW £30M SIGNING ON WEDNESDAY

Xhaka helped Switzerland win the 2009 U17 World Cup before stepping up to senior duty
In what has been a constant speculation, Arsenal are set to turn the said speculation and rumours to reality by unveiling newly signed Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka before Wednesday evening according to the Mirror.
The Mirror wasn’t the only newspaper to report the move as the Telegraph also reported that he travelled to London (Colney) to undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on Friday . The deal is currently valued at 30 million which will see Borussia Mochengladbach allow him to move to the Emirates.
As if that wasn’t enough , a picture of the midfielder donning an Arsenal kit went viral online on Saturday  in what was supposed to be his official photo-shoot.
The Mirror also confirmed that the deal is done as Arsenal have sealed it after he passed his medical and what is expected is a press statement from the North London club confirming the deal before Wednesday. If things go according  to plans , Xhaka will be Arsenal’s third most expensive signing slightly behind the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexeis Sanchez who moved in 2013 from Real Madrid for the former and Barcelona in 2014 for the latter.
Xhaka is expected to fight for his place in the starting eleven with the likes of Mohammed El’Neny , Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey all who can play central midfield as the likes of Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Matthieu Flamini  will be released this summer to reduce the wage bill of the club and recoup the funds used in signing the former Borussia Mochengladbach midfielder .
